What this dumb blonde also failed to realise with her post is that NOBODY in the UK pays road tax.

I hope the Police prosecute to the letter of the law.

What an idiot!!

It's morons like her, that force me to ride on the pavement.
A Blonde, shooting herself in the foot,
And in Norfolk, how unusual !!!
MM I love cyclists on the pavement, my stick in the spokes is a great sport.
something about blondes baldric?

I heard that

how's your arm?
in Norfolk it seems blondes do have more fun, tongue in cheek.
I thought we did pay road tax, but I am occasionally blonde........
I think their great sloopy, they get dirty quicker ;o)

It's still sore, back to fracture clinic later, hope I can keep f/glass sleeve thingy, don't want a plaster
Simple answer - it's "assault with a deadly weapon" - jail the stupid tart for a few years and make an example of her.
Though I must say I find motorists in Northern Ireland the most cycle friendly out of the whole of the British Isles, especially at Sandyknowles Roundabout in the morning rush hour when I had to cycle to work when my motor was in the workshop. Normally for a car driver this is the sort of junction where you close your eyes, press your right foot down as far as it will go, and prey. But when I was trying to negotiate it on two wheels everyone in seemed to go out of their way to make my passage as easy as possible.

Courtesy works both ways.
Lol Mamya. I do hope I never have a 'stick in the spokes' from someone as lovely as yourself.... they would find themselves in A&E.

From the link, for all Veronica Lake-esque AB'ers:

Road tax does not actually exist in the UK and roads are funded from general taxation.

It is commonly confused with Vehicle Excise Duty, which is a car tax paid on vehicles as a levy on emissions.
you would yes
*they*

I know your eyesight is Sugar...

Better A&E than the mortuary, MadMen. Not even blondes drive on the pavement.
It is but my aim is true
As a cyclist, I did not ask for 'taxable' roads to be between myself and my destination, I would be happy to use dirt tracks but if they're there, I'll have to use them - my bike does not pollute and causes very little wear and tear on the road so afaic "road tax" is out of the question. Just drinking the Devil's Advocaat there!
Chill, I am neither blonde, nor ride on the... er.. roads :-/

I know MadMen, I was pointing out that you'll be safer on the pavement from the sort of cretin who made the news in the OP.
Chill, I have used your video (the one where you nearly got run down) on my Facebook page SO many times now!
Let's see , what have we got ? Failing to stop, failing to report, careless driving....Anything else ? Do you sometimes think that users of Twitter imagine that only a trustworthy friend or two reads what they put ?
