The Email that was accidentally sent to the 'Bride To BE' read:

/// ‘Hi Carlo, I need your advice on this wedding, I know this probably doesn’t sound very nice, but I am trying to put this wedding off as I don’t think they are the type of people that we would want to have at Stoke Park.’ ///

yup, idiot rudeness isn't only directed at straight couples....
Not in a million years would they, theyd be too scared of the baying PC brigade.

If they thought it would ruin the eliteness of the venue yes
Is there a law about discriminating against porn stars?

Answer: No.

So no chance of a prosecution for discrimination. So they can say whatever they like about her.

Why can't you just refer the story as it stands without having to manufacture additional angles to generate 'outrage'?
I can see the similarities between this and the B&B that refused the gay couple.

Same amount of media attention and public outrage? I doubt it.
Unless it happens we will never know but I would guess if was Elton and Dave yes Fred and George from the Dog and Duck know.

Its not about preference, its about snotty gits and plebs

Snub: Bride-to-be Pauline Bailey believes the five star hotel didn't want to host her wedding because her fiance Paul Carter has a pierced eyebrow and two earrings
Still in other totaly irrelevant question news.

If I rode my bike and called the Police f**&&^$£ plebs would I be made to resign as chief whip
AOG

As the email was sent to the bride accidentally, the question is surely moot?

Or am I reading your question wrong...are you asking whether they would
not want to host a civil partnership ceremony?

For an answer to that, we'd have to know whether the woman who wrote the email has a problem not only with straight porn stars, or gay couples too.

Or are you asking whether they would have tried to avoid hosting a wedding for gay porn stars too?
I'd like to think you'd do the decent thing dave, and not wait to be asked
So if you're gay with a pierced eyebrow and two earrings ...then yes
But the reason would be because you have a pierced eyebrow and two earrings not because you are gay.

These people who don't want gays in their hotel need to learn to box clever.
Sorry- whats the similarity here, and why are you trying to draw and equivalence between this story and the recent story about the gay couple and the B/B?

This just seems a non-story given prominence by the media obsession with providing salacious tittle tattle dressed up as an "issue".

You could just as well have made this a story about an incompetent wedding planner incapable of using basic email facilities.....
but if they had of been gay, no amount of excuse from the hotel involved would have stopped them from getting called homophobic etc etc
They haven't 'done' anything.

The couple could have been diverted for a myriad reasons, and been none the wiser - it happens all the time.

The papers are looking for a puff story on a bad news day, and you are looking for an angle that simply does not exist AOG.
did the hotel know she was a glamour model? The Daily Mail obviously do as the whole article is focused on that. Also says something much, much further down about her being a law graduate.
Stoke Park is a high class venue though some of the gold club members are pretty 'iffey'. Covered in bling, drive Ferraris, trophy wives, don't have regular jobs.....know what I mean?
