Unless you live here you won't know how bad it has become. It has nothing at all with London getting everything that is good, more the worse, including people.
An appalling idea and I hope it never happens. A load of zombie-driven petrol-guzzling, noisy, polluting vehicles driven round and round a city centre at speed while a crowd of people who like that sort of thing look on and cheer. .
Don't the police normally try to stop that sort of thing?
And surely these types of events make more competitive sense on dedicated tracks?

they should run it on the M25 instead. Each circuit would take 7 hours, with cars reaching 15mph on some of the long straight bits. Imagine the worldwide TV audience for this sort of skilled driving - almost certainly in the rain. It would intnroduce such iconic sights as South Mimms services to a global audience.
