Perhaps I didn't word that very well - I don't think anyone should behave like that, and if they do, they bear the consequences - but it's THEIR business, not ours, and I really don't want to hear about any of it.

The only positive thing about this tacky affair and the other accusations, combined with the NoW invasion of folks mobile phones, is that the UK Govt and Judiciary have to (underscored) sort out the mess that is our Privacy Laws versus the Freedom of Speech issue. On one side, do we want the Press not to expose corrupt Government, Companies, scams, fraudsters, dirty Priests, cheats and all the rest and, on the other,not have protection to sensitive cases involving minors, disabled, family matters and indeed false accusations. And it is on that last point that they should really focus. If an accusation or a story is made up to see if there is "any fire behind the smoke" then it should be injunctioned. That Press gutter treatment is abhorrent and should be terminated asap.

as I understand it, he was granted the superinjunction because the judge suspected the young lady was blackmailing him. (She arranged meetings which seemed to be a press trap, and she requested money from him.) Suppressing the names of blackmail victims is normal.

Why should these men get away with it because they have the money to spare, the woman involved with Gaggs is given no protection at all. It amazes me that the judges allow the injuctions to go ahead. The reason one footballer gave for wanting an injuction was that he would be given a hard time on the pitch with the fans shouting and jeering at him. Poor soul!
There's only one solution really, but they seem to be unable to grasp that they could be honest and faithful to their wives and families.
