Technically speaking he would be Lady John, but as he is male he just stays plain Mr Furnish.
It's much the same when a woman is made a Dame. Her husband just stays as plain Mr,but if a man becomes a Knight his wife is automatically Lady......
Odd isn't it.

It is very strange - I thought maybe the use of honourable!
Sorry, but until the honours system recognises Civil Partnerships, then poor David Furnish will have to stay as plain Mr.

Or we could just abolish the lot!
Sadly, Ric.ror. 'Honourable' is one of those strangely restricted honorifics. Younger sons of Earls , children of Viscounts or Barons , but not life peers, are, MPs call each other honourable , High Court judges are the Honourable Mr or Mrs Justice/ the Right Honourable the Lord/Lady Justice and Lord Mayors of London, Belfast or York are 'Right Honourable' as are the Lord Provosts of Edinburgh and Glasgow and Earls, Viscounts and Barons.

And Marquesses, holders of the Order of the Bath and Members of the Privy Council are Most Honourable.

Can't think of any others.
Camp David?
However you address him / her / it, you must address them with the postcode (you're not properly addressed without it).
