We’ve planned to go for a meal today and we plan on a trip to the cinema at the weekend - would have been today but stuff popped up that was unavoidable - this is what Nungate would have done on her special day so we are going to honour that.

Miss her every day but each day I’m reminded how very much like her I am.

Maybe there is something wrong with me, but I don't miss ANY deceased ABers and none of the deaths have effected my emotions.
I have never met them, i only know them as an "element " on a screen and i cannot relate to such posts on AB.

Some Ab ers leave us through death and we may have shared major life events with them. If we relate to our fellow posters as we would the people in our offline lives we can't help but feel for their passing knowing they also have offline lives where they will be sorely missed. Whether you want to acknowledge it or not there will be many here who will miss you when you are gone. Not for your medical advice but for your humour and other contributions.
Will i miss some of the quieter less forceful characters. Possibly not but I would still remember the people who do miss them and for whom the loss is first hand and painful

I’m struggling enough. I’m not having a go Sqad but I think what Minty was trying to do was to get me through the day with memories and words. This year has been especially difficult as a family member who I am close to has been in hospital 3 times with what took my mum. I appreciate what you said though.

This was something I would have shown my father later, that people remember his wife for the fun person she was, he appreciates the thought that people take a moment to remember someone who meant the world to us.

Maybe it would be worth reporting the comments you don't want your father to see, and maybe the ed will remove them. Or copy and paste them into a word document and edit out the wrong bits. Nungate towers held many an hour of silliness, and that's a better thing to remember

I’ve often considered doing a MOFC again - yes I am aware I’m not old enough but I still reside in Nungate Towers. Would you like me to do a Christmas Do at NT? Sure I can persuade Igor to start flicking over with a duster?
