Which band would you like to see reformed for a last hurrah?

The Smiths, Abba, Gabriel/Hackett Genesis, S Club 7, or someone else?

Just a bit of fun. They have to be alive, so no Beatles, Floyd or Nirvana I'm afraid.

Definitely Abba. I wasn`t a fan at the time but a reunion would be great. I don`t think it`ll ever happen though. They could name their price to anyone who got them together on a stage again.

squeeze with jools.
seen squeeze 3 times and they are great live, but never seen them with jools on the ole joano
What I mean is that if they attempt to do a song just as they did 20/30 years ago they usually fail miserably. I assume that posters are wanting their favoured reunion band to sing golden oldies and not new stuff.

The only band I have seen who managed to perform the same as they did 25 years later are U2. (I am not saying that was a good thing either) I would have like to have seen that they had moved on and come up with something new.
Lost all respect for Queen when they toured after Freddie's death too. Queen without Freddie ain't queen. Lizzy without Phil ain't Lizzy.
I think in the 80's The Drifters were performing in about 7 Spanish holiday resorts ...........on the same night lol.
When are Middle of the Road going to be touring ... ?
Dave ...............careful what you wish for.

That's a bit unfair saying no Pink Floyd!
If you can't have Queen without Freddie or Lizzy without Phil, then you can't have Floyd without Rick...
I agree. Die hard fans may say without Sid.
Damn, I wanted Queen. Oh well - Bay City Rollers. Joke!
Syd's a tougher call, though. Founder member, of course, but not involved in any of the band's classic output, the inspiration for WYWH notwithstanding... :-)
Freddie and Phil were frontmen, Rick was on keyboards, big difference
LOL!

REM, would love to see them live.
Do not believe in them. You cannot turn the clock back to being young and creative. Turn off seeing old heroes being fat and bald.

Just remember that statement when you notice your missus starts getting headaches more often than she used to.
