The 2011 tour of the musical "All the Fun of the Fair" starts next month with David Essex in the lead role. Rehearsals must begin anytime now but as I don't watch Corrie I was wondering if he's been written out yet?

That's because he's in Eastenders, plays Eddie Moon, but no he's not been written out yet.

They are 6 weeks behind on screen, he'll be gone in Sept. (Never to return I hope)

He was on the 'One Show' the other day talking about the show he's in, he also said there is a film being made of 'All The Fun of the Fair' after the curtain comes down and he'll be in that too.
Asked when or if he'll be back in EE, he didn't want to comit himself. He always seems to me to need a kick up the ar5e...

I know what you mean Jem, but as a "retired" man I don't suppose he needs to worry about committing to anything anymore. Just takes what comes his way.
