Driving on the A3(m)

Can anyone tell me what the commute is like from Portsmouth to Guildford on the A3(M) at rush hour? I know it gets hectic around Hindhead....how long are the queues?

Hindhead is normally the only place you'll experience queues. At worst the queue could be up a mile long, delays maybe half hour or so. Bear in mind the roadworks on the north side of hindhead where they have begun works for the tunnel (Reduced to one lane in places)
