I understand from Gness that people have missed me and wonder why I haven't been on here so often? I truly haven't done a "flounce" just been involved in various life happenings, some happy (birthday parties) and some sad (2 funerals of friends) I haven't felt much like joining in some of the conversations lately but I do try to keep up with genuine AB news. Sorry I missed some birthdays, but the owners hadn't told me their dates! Will try another post to get more dates of ABer birthdays ... x

Hi Ann - glad to see you back and sorry to hear about the funerals of your friends. The worse thing here has been the minty and Queenie story........so tragic what happened to one of Queenie's friends and, by chance, minty being the first to be on site to her and give her final moments of comfort.

To be fair, I wasn't actually on AB on my birthday. I was meant to be working from 7am to 7pm in Norwich that day but a colleague kindly covered the last 2 hours for me, so that I could get home in time to catch a train into Ipswich for a couple of drinks with a pal. However that was all I could have, as I had to be up at around 5am the following day in readiness for another 12-hour shift. My 'big' birthdays never seem to work out well!

Date for Ann's book, Horseshoes.......x And a few dropped hints in the weeks before would help.....Supposing your birthday was on..say...29th May...you could say....The weather was fine on the day I was born..29th of May 1950 ....if, that is, you were born on 29th May...as I was. ;-) x
