In order;
No
No
Cat C should be stated on the V5, and the insurance company (who's idea the category rating system is) should know that your car is Cat C
Dont know
a lot of companies including admiral do not normally insure cat A B C or D cars. I have found the best 2 are Swinton and RAC. I bought a fiat punto active sport cat c last december. i was insured with RAC for the previous car and transferred it to the punto at a lower cost. when renewal came up i was quoted £640. RAC explained it was because on checking the car came up cat c and they incur a premium load. it is worth it as the increase in insurance was more than offset by the cheap purchase price of the car. i would buy another cat c or d.
