Which Car???

I'm looking at buying a new car, I need it for work as I travel quite a lot and do have to transport children around at times. However I'm 22 and this is my first 'proper' car so I don't really want it too be too much of a family car. Any ideas on what car I could get I was looking at the new shape corsa's but now I'm not sure. I want to spend a max of �9000.

clio, nice and cheap, very good car and i cant remember what engine size it is but its diesel ( my sis-in-law got it ) and its only �35 per year to road tax !!!
