It's piddling down here, Tilly.

I have doing some work for Mr P, and half-watching Tangled with the kids.

What are you up to?
I've been sorting out our outhouse.
A it's chucking it down, b I'm working........
Not chucking down here :-)
running in and out with the washing, beautiful sunshine then pouring lol

Lazy start to the day, OH took dogs out she's been away for long w/end, said she missed them. Cut the grass, had a bit of a outside tidy-up, now planning to revert to bone idle again for rest of day.
Brill. sunshine here atm, but cool (N/Kent)
Same old same old at work. Well that's not strictly true, I'm awaiting others to get back to me, which has crimped my style so far today. Agitated, but there will be days like that.

^^
aN, not a... . . . Doh!
Well, at 10:15 I have to go to the doc's for an annual physical and flu-shot (Oh!, great joy). After that, a trip to the local hardware store to buy some 400 grit sandpaper and some crocus cloth. Now beat that for excitement!
Clearing all the C**p out of wardrobes, cupboards etc... taking it to the tip or charity shop... 35 years worth of it :o(
caught up on sleep to make up for the fireworks and terrible weather we have had here since thursday. If The dogs are scared they don't sleep and if they don't sleep, i don't sleep.
I have just cleaned the fridge (Thank God)

Now everything is all neat and tidy and spotless too. Foodstuffs was all wiped down as well.

It has been an absolutely glorious day here. It's gone cloudy now, though.

I took Tilly out and managed not to fall over (a bonus), had some 'brunch' and spent the rest of the time pottering about in the garden, culminating with raking up leaves.........again. I found the snow shovel really handy for scooping up the piles of leaves.

Well done to those of you who have had a clearing, sorting day. I tend to leave those jobs for rainy, miserable days. I do realise that some of you are not getting this lovely sunshine.
I've been out and about this morning, did shopping, met a friend, then had another friend come in to replace my old modem for a new soooper doooper super hub and now my broadband is faster than a speeding bullet. Well, at least it's supposed to be.
Now, it's piddling rain and it's to last for a few hours and I'm now on here chatting to all you lovely ABers.
Hi, Tilly.......fed up with paying £400 - £500 for glasses I'm experimenting with purchasing online.....

A friend had to help me mark the distances on the pair they sent to try so I went to post them back....had a walk through town and found...in a charity shop... the perfect little table.
I've been searching for ages for one this size.....it's a Victorian plant stand...in need of some TLC....£30

So all in all I have saved about £400 today.....am mulling over what I'll spend it on......☺
Gness, mull no longer. Drinks all round. Gness is paying... yippee
Question Author
No woodworm in it, I hope, gness?
I'm happy with drinks on me.......though I can hear MrG's voice saying....

Let me explain again, Gness......sigh.......You don't actually have the £400 you've saved......except in your imagination.....which is way too over developed......☻
No woodworm......which reminds me of the time I skipped our wooden framed dart board because the frame had wood worm.....

Mother....said the miffed son.....you don't think those could have been the holes made by the darts that missed the board do you?

Whoops......☺
