I bought my car new in March 2010 and I have a blue log book V5C. A friend has just told me that I should have a red log book is this correct and if so how do I get one and how much does it cost ?

Mine was sent automatically without asking and was free (same for the other cars in our household). I expect you can order one via DVLA website

It's £25 but that's only if you've lost the new one
As long as the information regards the car are correct, there is no problem, make sure all the Car's details are right eg/ VIN / Engine No/ Reg / was the car checked for you?
