2006 ford ka

is it right that these have a timing chain rather than a timing belt, apparently if its a chain they are more or less everlating but a belt has to be changed as per miles or years, thanx

What model Ka is it please.
After further investigation looks like the KA does in fact have a chain.

hubby thought he was right and it was him who says that a chain is far better and lasts forever (i hope), he checked this out for me as mine is due mot & service so we are well pleased as his car has had 2 timing belts changed, due to his high mileage, so a bit of money saved there, thanx all for agreeing with him, it will make his day when i tell him he was right, not often he is, but on this occasion i will let him have this one x
