Could it be that most TV programmes are now mainly targeted at the Female sex?

Soaps, Doctor and Hospital Dramas, Jeremy Kyle type shows, Cooking programmes, Loose Women, House restoration type programmes, and reality shows etc etc.you get the idea

I dont watch any of them and I am female, I think most of these shows are cheap to make in particular the reality shows and jeremy kyle
Could it be because it's presumed that more women than men are at home during the day?
Top Gear! Top Gear! he blurted jumping up and down waving his hand in the air.
I don't watch any soaps, hate hospital dramas - Jeremy Kyle should be deported - hate cooking programmes. I am female .
The Documentary Channels on Sky are very good. If you do not like the Soaps etc you could watch these instead.
I love a good documentary, red .
Having Sky+ Den53, I can record a lot of these Documentaries as there's plenty of choice to view. Maybe too much at times.
I'm female..............I watch the soaps but never watch daytime TV, well except for the tennis. Cooking programmes, Loose Women.....boring.
I like Silent Witness, Waking the Dead, Spooks, New Tricks..........
It's true, there is hardly anything on.

But I'd be interested to see what figures are for watching DVDs in groups, or what they are for playing video games in groups. Or what they are for people doing either of those things in groups of friends rather than groups of family.

It's a little simplistic to assume we're all bowling alone because families are watching less telly.
