About one hour to 2400, Captain, sir, and the mainsa'ls have been ironed and starched; the mizzen mast is slightly askance; the protuberances on the bow-spit have been fondly polished; the keel has been hauled; Barnacle Bill is manning the helm; Billy Budd is cooking in the galley; and those not on watch are sipping port on the starboard side...Oh,Oh! we have an Admiral with a pinafore on boarding ship in order to rename her...Permission to scarper, Captain!
