Morning Bet, I was beginning to think I was on my own in the world!!! Don't talk to me about clutter - I have to declutter our house when i'm off in a couple of weeks. We seem to have collected so much crap over the years and now that i'm on my own there seems no need for it all. I mean, for example, we bought a Mickey Mouse sun hat for our son when we went to Chester for a day out in 1976 and we've still gotr the damn thing in a suitcase in the loft - Why? Ahh well, she said, it's nice to keep mementoes - eh?? it's a sodding sun hat not his first tooth!!
Perhaps you shouldn't have mentioned the loft, putting ideas in my head.. Women are more sentimental welshy, I still have the wrist bands when the kids were born and thats over 40 years ago.. Would i part with them,, "never" xx
Question Author
Oh, i've found them, Bet, plus alot of other stuff like that (our lads are 35+31). Those I could never part with - they are what I would describe as personal treasures like the first lock of hair and things like that but not a sun hat!
Good morning Welshy and 365....what a glorious morning!!
Morning Noraq, do you think the summer has started or are we in for a 3 day wonder again x
Hi 365...well 2 day wonder here (according to the Met. Office) I'm going in early so I can leave at lunch time and beat the 'city slicker' traffic ...it's a Bank Holiday week-end here. =) x
wonderful, wonderful walk along the tow path just now - the sun is sunning and the swans are swanning - perfect- woofie has been fed so is very happy (she's a Lab what else do you expect) and am away to collect papers after first cuppa of the day. Whatever you're doing today make sure you have a sun hat on tis going to be a scorcher - Welshyorkie has one looking for a new home.
Where are you Noraq??x
Kildare 365...about 20 mioles from Dublin.

Oh and Welshy..did'nt mean to offend you yesterday morning...I was only joking about the nutjob and headache. =)
I couldn't be offended by anything Welshy said, In fact I don't even remember it. I've been to bed since then and yesterday is a distant "memory".. xx
^miles even=) 'Morning Carmalee

Utjob me ou ust be oking - Nobody ikes a ood oke ike me in the orning, oh for ucks sake this eyboards gone uts again!!!!!

Noraq, If I got upset at people calling me a nutjob I would be a nutjob in the local hospital. I love a laugh and a joke and apparently according to my colleagues, I wouldn't be me if I was serious!!!

Morning Carmalee, didn't mean to ignore you - and it is now a beautiful morning here. Sun is cascading over the crematorium and over the industrial estate - the recycling centre never looked so resplendant!!!
Question Author
