I had been thinking that Alexandra was the best singer, but Laura really upped the ante tonight - doing some more proper singing and less of that god-awful melisma nonsense. Sorry, don't think much of Rachel, and hopefully the "men" who keep crying will get turfed out soon enough too. Wimps. Unfortunately, this thing gets voted for by the great British public, who are, by and large, morons. No offence, like.
Ruth won't win, but if she and her lovely mad Spanish hair need a shoulder to cry on when she bows out, I'm ready to volunteer - phwooaaarrr, as The Sun would say. ;-)

I don't like Rachel either littleoldme. She thinks too much of herself and a bit common. She is acting like she is famous already, which she isn't yet, and I certainly don't think she should have worn trousers! and what was all that stamping her foot and waving about???

Agree with kjc. I think Rachel has a great voice but is so full of her own self importance it just puts me off as I don't think she's got the right temperament to cut it.
I like Alexandra and Laura and Diana.

I said to my OH before the results show i bet both the girl bands are in the sing off as nether off the groups sang in harmony, and how right i was, i also think that us joe public are fed up of girl bands, i certainly am.

Agree with you there, there are too many girl bands and they all sound the same, I wonder if they were all really ugly but had great talent would they get anywhere? I don't think so!

If it was all about actual singing talent, yes. But sadly, I wouldn't be surprised if it featured that sad-eyed Northern Irish kid with his well-rehearsed, pleading, last-puppy-in-the-pet-shop looks to camera. He seems to have the mum vote sewn up. Cynical, moi? ;-)

Also Daniel who lost his wife, I think he'll get the sympathy vote but he's only got an average voice and looks as if he's going to burst every time he sings, he'd never make a recording artist. alright for a pub singer I suppose.

I am very disappointed that the judges have put racheal thro to the live shows, imo I still think she is taking drugs and after last nights performance I would put my money on it, this girl should not be allowed to be a role model to young children, and leon was acting strange too last night

Rachel is too mouthy. She said something after the criticisms she received about talking to her montor (Danni) like adults and not fighting. I think that just goes to show that in her mind she wanted to have a go at Danni about the song choice. It seems evident from boot camp what she is like.

Glad im not the only one who thought leon was acting strange, with all the bobbing about he was doing i thought he'd forgotten to go to the loo before he came on stage.

I did think Rachels song suited her brillantly tho. Really enjoyed it but none of the jury agreed. Stange one that!
