I've got visitors arriving soonish - they are getting a very nice soup made from the leftovers of yesterday's pot roasted lamb and carrots.
Then they can have my cross-cultural favourite of fish fingers in pitta bread with sweet chilli sauce and some green crap (salad is not good in January).
All washed down with some Chateua Aldista Carmenere.
I have had a very busy week, so I am rewarding myself with an Indian takeaway tonight. Just collected it !......Chicken Jalfrezi, Coconut Rice, with side orders of Mushroom and Bhindi Bargees. ( sorry for my anglifications )
I make my own tomato and onion salad, and I always get 2 free Pappadums from the village takeaway. I forgot to make some Raita this morning, but I shall make some tomorrow.....takes the heat out of any curry !
I have one bottle of the Lidl French cider left in the garage, from the case I bought last time they were selling them
( I would be obliged if someone could warn me when they are next in store...very "applely" indeed )
And I shall be having a rare Martini at 19:02 !
