Have you achieved it or are you in the process?

Or was it like mine a ridiculous pipe dream?

I really wanted to be a meteorologist and work specifically with storms/tornadoes/cyclones and the like. It would take me a lifetime to become this now. So I am currently trying to think of something else to settle for....

So come on guys - share.... Ed this means you too, if your around

Blatant attempt.
i wanted to be a big fat bunny wabbit and finally achieved it
I wanted to be pretty, witty and smart
God loves a trier!
I always wanted to be an air-hostess but never had any idea how to go about it....so needless to say i now remain with my feet firmly on the ground....but my head is still in the clouds ...lol
started off wanting to be a nurse, then I wanted to be a hairdresser. Ended up as a medical secretary.
I never had the faintest idea what I wanted to be, and I'm still trying to work out what I should do.
i didnt think about it until I was about 12 or 13. I wanted to be a draftsperson, then an accountant, then a shop keeper and a "ghostbuster"

i started out in retail, spent 6 years working up to assistant manager then changed my plans

I am now doing the CAD work in an engineering company (so almost a draftsperson) and finally, in my late 30s, do my ghost investigating work.

so i did it all bar the accountancy

Maybe Joeluke you just growing up will be enough?
I wanted to work with animals when I was younger, maybe marry a farmer, then I wanted to be a naturalist and always an artist,,, Now I'd like to be a professional garden designer...

Had to settle for pets, birdwatching and just studying the wild things I see around me, but have always painted and done a lot of craft stuff and have sold some of my work, and designed a few gardens and built one big design for a friend...so have managed watered down versions of my dreams....
Natural phenomena just a hobby...If I win the lottery you can come storm chasing with my sis and I greedy..
