This is the new Archers. There is a new policy to make it like other soaps so that it will appeal to a younger audience. Some hopes!

I suppose some would say that what's happening to certain characters (yes, I heard it yesterday evening) is a reflection of real life, but The Archers isn't an Everyday Story of Country Folk any more.

I cant believe I missed it last night to hear what happened and I wont be able to go catch the sunday episode - just have to wait to see if I fill in the gaps
