However old I'm getting - I'm grateful for the fact I'm getting old.
Bythe way, I'm 47.
Would rather be 27 or even 37 - but at least I'm alive & relatively well.
Just a number and in some ways I am much more content nowadays.
Hey, its just a number - it's how young you are in your mind that counts!
It's a number!
I'm 24 in my head

I've made several attempts to post now, and keep getting thrown out. I wish the tech guys would sort this site out once and for all.

I only thought about asking this question because my mother and her sister both turn 51 tomorrow, and I know that neither of them will be chuffed about it. I often wish I could be 27 again, and stay at that age.
they'll each be 25 1/2 yrs for the second time around!!

glad I'm not the only one having probs :(
I feel about 17.

I tried telling her that, but it wouldn't wash. lol

This site is infuriatingly slow, and though we hear excuse after excuse from the Ed and the Spare, the problem keeps resurfacing. Btw, this is my third attempt to post this answer.

That's because you are in love, Barmaid :-)
I'm 63 on November 11th, couldn't feel better if I tried...lol
I enjoy socialising, having a bevvie or two, loving my family

Age??? who cares
ps retirements great too...lol
no, I feel comfortable in my skin, I couldnt give a monkeys how old I am, as long as my health is good.
I am 40 soon, really looking forward to it. Had my children in my 20's so I am back working in a nice well paid job.. less stressful life now than in my 20's when were were worrying about childcare/work/money...Me and my hubby of 18 years are far more settled with out lives now in our 40's.
with * our lives. Sorry.
I will be fifty-five in a few weeks, and I am happy to say that apart from my hair loss, I don;t look it - and fortunately what's left has yet to turn grey.

In one way, I love being my age, because of the experiences I have had, and the times i have lived through. The 70's was my time, and I was very happy, but seriously intesnet then. I have mellowed in my personal dealings, but am even mkore passionate about my passions - my music especially.

I wish I had the energy I had thirty-five hears ago, and that the world was like it was for me then - in some ways at least - the friendships and relationships I had, the highs were stratospheric, the lows almost too painful to bear.

But that makes me who I am - dad to three fhree girls, grandad to three grandchildren, and number four due before Christmas, so life is good.

We should appreciate what we have, I try to to that every day, and usually succeeed..

Well said, Andy. I must admit, I am more consciencious about everything I do now.

My great Grandfather was nearly 103 when he died, and up until just a few weeks before, he really lived life to the full. He smoked and drank until he was well into his nineties, and even got a job as a caretaker when he was about 94. lol
I am proud of being 86,and being able to surf the net.
Oh,and Andy has reminded me.
We have
4 Children
6 Grand Children
4 Gt Grand Children
AND(ready for this?)
1 Gt Gt Grandchild.

Now (having listed this) I can SEE why I feel young.LOL
i'm too old to bother lol
