Can't wait to see this tonight! Loved the first series. I found it so amusing. Brilliant cast. Anyone else watched this / enjoyed it? (BBC2 10.00pm)

Snap! Let's hope it's as good, if not better than the first :-)
No, Ive never seen it. What is it about?
Imagine the cliques of mums that gather at the school gates and the way they can be, being a bit *** and always talking about each other. Sounds awful but it really is hilarious because it shows just how ridiculous they are.
The missing word is a female dog
Yes, looking forward to it.

Thanks for link Mamya.
Patsy, did it live up to your expectations? I hadn't watched it before but decided to give it a go but unfortunately, I didn't reckon much to it. x
Don't know about you Patsy but I was disappointed. Looked forward to it so much and it seemed to be all about the new woman, the drunk scenes were ridiculous. Not nearly enough of the cafe/school gates.
I'm a sucker for a sit com. I enjoy it but prefer Better Things
hc4361, what is Better Things, what channel is it on?
Question Author
I agree, Barsel.
I think they tried too hard for a laugh. A bit over the top I thought. Shame. Let's hope it's better next episode.
It's a sitcom about a single mother, it's not on at the moment but you can watch it on iPlayer
It's American with Celia Imrie.

Thanks hc
Oh dear. That was awful.
Well, I WAS looking forward to this. I’ve only had chance to watch the first ten minutes so far.
Oh dear! I couldn’t believe a single bit of it, starting with the stroppy shop assistants who didn’t want to sell shoes, to the ludicrous stuff coming out of the mouths of the mums at the school gate.

The first episode was a bit too much, overpowering. Watched 3 more episodes with daughter last night. A lot better. We had such a giggle!
