You sent me an answer on my Inheritance Tax question last week..............thanks !
So even if my estate is worth a million I don't have to pay any on the £100k I leave to the kids ? It just gets reduced from the amount my wife has of my allowance i.e £325k reduces to £225K so the £40k IHT on the bit I gave to the kids is effectively paid when she dies unless she's spent it all ! is that how it works ?
