Did you watch Benidorm last night with guest appearances from Joan Collins and the Krankies no less?

Er, no!
Yes, and it was the worst episode ever, many because of Rustie Lee's guest appearance.
I gave it a look because wanted to see how Joan Collins fared but they should have ended it on the first or second series and gone out on a high.
It's just too silly for words now.
hc4361 - I think the inclusion of Rustie Lee can be seen as a bench-mark for the depths to which any series has sunk.

I think Benidorm jumped the shark more than one series ago - but if it gains an audience, then it will remain.
I still watch it but it's not as good without Johnny Vegas and his mum, and the gay couple............
I am forced to watch it every week, despite thinking it's without doubt the WORST program on TV.

I didn't know who Rustie Lee was, nor the Krankies, but did have a giggle when Joan Collins said to that bloke "piss off, short arse".
It was a slow night... :D

Other than that, it's awful. That orange leather handbag of a woman does my head in too. So unfunny.
Benidorm can't be any worse than call the Midwife, or can it?
Joan Collins was funnier in the Cinzano ads with Leonard Rossiter. Anyone got a link, please?
Oops duck.
Here you go, Cupid...

Thank you heathfield.

David Jason is still a huge name and does not need to appear in Benidorm for a few quid. Ask anyone under 25 who the Krankies and Rustie Lee are and you'll get blank looks.
Lower your expectations and look at Roger De Courcey and Jim Bowen.
it used to be funny in series one but lost its way and isnt funny any more so no i didnt watch it
I quite like it, been to Benidorm in the past and like to see places I've been to. I thought Joan Collins was very good in it, she raised the standard. Apparently, she's coming back when the new series airs.
