What else can i do????
Hi i have recently put posts about my ex partner assaulting me - he swears he didnt touch me and didnt have knife to me. The thing is im not actually sure what happend! Ive been over and over it thousand times but its still not clear! Ive spoke to IDVA and loads of other people but nobody seems interested! Im currently suffering from anxiety and depression so they are just saying its because of that that im confused but i can read my original statement before court - i dont think this is fair surly if im not clear what happend he can not be still charged!
Any advice would be great about what else i can do!

Hi, not sure if this is going to right place but I am at present on bail charged with assult and batery on my partner (female). guess the place to start is the start, last tuesday after an argument which ended with my partner stabbing a knife into the kitchen worktop and saying "if I had the guts" (I think she was saying she would kill herself) (3 or 4 weeks before she had been in hospital for taking paracetamol and kept in for a week in the mental health wing (on this accasion I was the person who rang the police)). Anyway back to last tuesday after that had happened I ended up spending the night in my car as she had locked me out( I had a key but knew if I let myself in the argument would continue) at 2.30ish am I tried the doors to find them locked. At 5.30 she sent me a text message saying the doors been open alnight stupid.
I went in then 10 mins later my 1 1/2 year old son woke up so i brought him down and played with him for a while. later the 2 1/2 year old twins woke up and she brought them down ( I could tell she was not happy so kept playing with the kids and didn't make convosation).

She later took them to school and then returned and an argument followed, followed by me going out in my van to get away from the sittuation. I parked up in the local morrisons carpark and she sent the usual nasty texts ie you never talk you just drive off, after a couple of text messages i decided to delete all her messages and block her phone.
a bit later about Lunch time I drove home hoping she had gone out but she was still there. I had a couple of roll ups in my van then drove off again and parked up on a bridge over the M1 motorway. I had a bit of sleep in the van about 20 mins I think then when I woke I unblocked her phone ( sorry before I had a sleep) when I woke I had recieved another text asking why I pulled up and then drove off so my reply was " because I hoped you was out "
I think she replied "why" so I replied because I want you to Foof off because I am tired dont feel well and want some sleep".
anyway I drove back and she was loading the car up with rubbish bags and then she

well that is something you have to work out ,please do not talk to emma or you will be breaking your bail conditions i am going to ask for this thread to be deleted ,but to see your children you have to go to a third part and get the to arrange this for you and confused if your intentions are to let him see your children then you will also see a third party to arrange this until the courts decide the truth paul sign out now and do not come back on untill after the court case

She came back down and as she walked into the kitchen she charged through the door in such a way that I put my arms up in a way to protect myself as I thought she was going to attack me but she stormed past me and started screaming and swearing at the kids as they had got out of bed.
She stayed up there a while and all quietened down then she cam back down , on the way into the kitchen she said "suppose you want some tea" in an agressive way. "no it's ok just get yourself something" was my reply ( I was trying to be helpfull hoping she would calm down) " oh youv eaten out" was her reply "no" I said "I'm just not hungry"

Anyway not 100% sure what was said after that but remember saying " I'v had enough I'm going" She said she wanted her house key and I replied " when I have got my stuff" and then she hit me around the head I tried to go out the kitchen door and she put herself between me and the door and insisted i give her the key. I tried to open the door but she was holding it shut, as I was pulling the door she bit my ear (hurts like mad) I pulled away and then she started trying to punch me between the legs so to try and defend myself I tryed to restrain her by getting her in a kind of bear hug with my arms around her arms, while like this she was trying to grab between my legs and I was trying to twist my body away to stop her reaching, I must have put myself off balance as she rammed me into the cooker. The one good thing about this was it gave me time to get away and so I went into the lounge but she was right with me so instead of trying to get to the front door I went to the window and pulled the blinds open so people could see in and hopefully she would stop. I was at the window having just done this and she started laughing at me because I was so out of breath (having smoked since I was 11 (44 now)) I was getting scared as she seemed so strong that night and I had no breath left to defend myself . I turned and opened the left hand window but the safety catch caught and she moved over so I managed to open the right hand window including the catch and she still laughing moved back a little so I took my chance and jumped out of the window and got into my van and drove off. As I drove off she sat on the window sill and appeared to be making a call on her phone.
Anyway I drove through Chesterfield towards a friends who has said I could stay at his place ( I do some electrical work for him at his pub restraunt) .

Just before I was going to arrive having texted him the police rang and said can you come back to staveley police station, I thought nothing of it as I thought they were going to say come on mate give her her key back or something along them lines.
Anyway after a second call on the way back I arrived to be arrested for alledgedlly in their words "punching her in the face and holding a knife to her throat"
I was driven to chesterfield police station ( on the way asked for social services to be informed and was ignored)
When I was re cautioned at the police station I begged them to finger prit the knife as I know I had not touched it that day and asked for my parents to be informed ( which they were not)
I was put in cell for 20 odd hours and the questioned by a special domestic violence team.
during this interview again I asked for the knife to be fingerprinted, I also asked for lie detector test but they said they are not admissable, also the punching her in the face had dissapeared on the statement. I used the duty solicitor and she didn't seem intrested. The most memrable thing she said was that me protecting myself by restraining her arms was assult.
I know my only hope of proving I never did what she claims is through the knife being tested for finger prints but the solicitor said they probably wont do that in which case I know I will be convicted of a crime I did not do.
Please please please can you do anything to help?
I am bailed to stay away from derbyshire, have not been allowed to pick any of my things up even with police escort and living at my parents house in lincoln.
the first court appearance is 28th April (next week).

More of a 'oh dear Lord' kinda 'gosh'
Just goes to show how petty some people are. If Paul's story is true then it's nothing too horrific. Why he felt the need to mention prostitution and her debts is beyond me.
Also...if he knew her ID it makes me think that maybe sunsetter also knew who she was. Sunsetter joined just after confused posted her first question and seems to have only posted on confused questions...
