I went through the news stories in Google News this morning hoping to find some funnies. These days it is impossible to tell the factual stories from April Fools ones.

that's quite a clever bear, though not clever enough to stay out of trouble in the first place. Placer County looks to be approximately where the Ponderosa ranch used to be in Bonanza.

I never saw any bears in Bonanza.
Why don't we have cool wildlife?
I admit that the Scottish Wild Cat is to be feared, but their numbers are dwindling.
Bull seals are ruddy dangerous if you get too close to them, Wolfie, and we've got plenty of them!
