I trust the bookies to get it right more than any Media outlet, news item or opinion poll !
I have been following this, the Odds on 'Leave ' are getting longer by the hour, while the odds on 'Remain' go the other way !
You don't have to believe me just keep looking and see for yourself, the odds are refreshed every time there is a change. Best odds for each option are in bold type.
Nope, not at all.....I can use the polling data as the proof....there was a thread about five days ago showing the split between phone versus online and then the profile across the age-groups.
Jackdaw funny enough " She who must be obeyed" actually commented a week or so ago in exactly the same vein as your 18:34 post. She doesn't bet or even understand the odds (despite 30 yrs working in a bank), and I thought..............you daft genius. I actually said that if it goes 10/1 that I was putting good money on out. What prompted her off the cuff remark, was me asking out loud, who the @=+$ is lumping on National suicide?
Oh, give over. I queried your use of the word 'polyglotic'. Inappropriate in the context. There was no personal abuse; I am aware that people in Cornwall and Wales share many things in common, the principal being a distinct lack of sense of humour, but I didn't think that it had got that desperate.
When dt uses the adjective polyglotic to describe the youngsters, I think he means that they speak fluent rubbish with a thorough grounding in garbage and numbskullish.
possibly but at least they are going in one direction, even if their wrinkly and crinkly generation (largely - even though there is a large minority that may be, in reality on 23/6, a majority for stay) wanting to leave.
Other than crying into your Yorkshire Builder's, what are you going to do - accept the majority or revolt - or play Nicola whingeing for 'I want another referendum, as it's not fair'???
Oh why, oh why, didn't that -anker, Liam Byrne place the money on the bet rather than leave a message in the Treasury that Gordie and the boys had spent it all......at least a gamble would have been better.....
That really helps a lot (NOT) thanks. I'll toddle along after my voluntary stint at Filey Academy as far as the only Bookies I can find. Whoever they are.
