No, not unless you are a police officer with access to the Police data base.

Thank you for the info.
Just ask to see his licence. If he has, he won't have one, and if it's expired the ban will show up for ten years.
If you think the person is drink driving or driving while disqualified take a note of the car registration number and send a report tom the police that you often see him drinking several pints in a pub and then driving the car. They will put the car on the data base' and the next time a police ANPR camera sees the number it will flag it up as 'of interest' and they will pull it over. He will be asked to show his licence and breath tested.
It's not a legal requirement to carry your Licence.
It's not a legal requirement to carry any documents but you must produce them at a police station within 7 days if told to do so.
When the police stop a car the driver is required to give his/her name. It is then checked on the police national computer to see if they have a licence and insurance . They need proof of the name , but not necessarily from the driving licence. If no proof of the name is available the driver is arrested and taken to the police station where investigations will be made to find the correct name.
Jackdaw a 'producer'is only given if they can correctly identify the driver, but the licence is not available. You must be able to prove who you are first.

pr a newspaper article on the court case ....
Search for the person in Google. First try the home area

"Joseph Bloggs" +Homeland

If that doesn't work try

"Joseph Bloggs" +banned

If he's been banned from driving in the last 10 years or so it will be recorded in a local online paper. It's easier if they have an unusual name
