That's a heart-breaking number - it's 453 too many.
Well deserved.
So sad, each and everyone was a hero.
I note that Tony Blair was also there. He's got some nerve.
While not undermining their contribution - which is enormous, what was the death toll of the Forces during the Northern Irish problem years? - just to put things in a bit of perspective.

453 too many. I am very proud of our forces. I have huge respect for them all.
I saw on the interviews with the relatives, on the News. They all said how proud they were of their sons and daughters....quite a tear-jerking occasion for most of them I would imagine.
