Geek Squad phone insurance

I insured my new phone with Geek Squad about 3 weeks ago. Does anybody know how long before i can make a claim as i have dropped it into the bath and it aint working very well. I ask this question because when i took out my dog insurance i was told you couldn't claim for first 2 weeks.

It ought to tell you in the T&Cs.

I'm sure you'll have this information but I suppose it may depend upon which level of cover you have.

In the US you don't need to wait at all to file a claim with Black Tie Protection, as far as I recall. Pet insurance does require a waiting period however. (Which is why I use a vet discount service instead of insurance, I use Pet Assure but that's another story)...

I'm pretty sure you're covered with Geek Squad within a few days. I took it out on my phone whilst I waited the minimum 14 days for my free smartphone insurance with my bank to be able to kick in and then cancelled it.
