My dishwasher has started to not wash the dishes in one quarter of the lower tray, the front left The filter etcet is clean, there isn't any obstruction and the arms are not blocked and rotate freely. The dishes get wet and hot so there does seem to be some water getting to the dishes. Any suggestions please?

I have been out....in daylight and posh clothes.....and had coffee and gossipped....and came home and the dogs were fine.......and been invited out again........it was lovely.
Good day biddies, we have just had the storm from hell, it was fabulous, the rain was so dense you couldn't see far, so I put on a skimpy dress and washed the car, and swept the patio and danced in the rain, It was a lovely feeling, had to get into a warm shower after though. We tried the new Mercadona supermarket today, it's like Tescos, huge for this island and so much cheaper than the other shops. Mr N kept saying, no we don't need that, and then I found him popping in unnecessary items cos they were cheap! My sky box is up and running in the bedroom, so will spend my life in there!!!
a faithful and veracious acount of a recent discussion held in the suburbs

Self: "I'm getting a quote from a tree surgeon about the cost of cutting down the leylandii next door."

OH: "What does he say about it?"

Self: "He says it will get a lot bigger, and it will suck up water and nutrients from our garden as well as casting our garden into perpetual night."

OH: "But will it keep doing that even after it's been cut down?"

Self: "Duh?"

So that's why I turn up on biddy threads, to get some sane and logical conversation.
Oh I have convos like that Jno...
What are those tall thin trees in the corner ?

well to be utterly judiciously fair, he might have been asking if the stump will regrow.......then again......duh!!!!!
Good....erm...afternoon all...here I is, present but not necessarily correct. I've managed to do some shopping and have half an hour outside. Now I've come in the sun's finally come out, tut. Too boogered to go back outside but that's the most activity I've had all week.

haha, I have had gardeners who don't know the names of plants/trees. In effect they're just maintenance men with big choppers really. Never mind, as long as they do exactly as they're told and don't overcharge I'm quite willing to educate them. :)...The mind does boggle though when a school teacher points to a sparrow and says 'what's that bird?'...

hmmm, woofy's been out in posh clothes...
anything you'd like to share with us woofy?
Ha, ha Robinia. I had a friend (also a school teacher) who told me she had a bird in her garden that was blue and she thought it might be a kingfisher. It was a bluetit!!!!! I mean, honestly, how on earth......... for goodness sake!!
hello, they've had a photocall at Balmoral

Robi my very good friend, Mum to my godson, and her friend and I went to a tabletop sale at the local community hall. My friend is elegantly slim and always looks like she has stepped out of the pages of a classy magazine even (honestly I've seen it) when she is gardening and doing massive housework. If I didn't like her so much i'd hate her.
I have to hike my standards or I look even more like a bag lady, which is good for me. Hiking standards I mean, not looking like a bag lady, Today I wore black skinny jeans grey suede boots and a lavender grey scoop neck top and my long string of bright pearls.
Lottie i am betting if a biddy had the parenting of Harry, he would conduct himself a little more sensibly and while he might still play strip pool, the pics would be more flattering and appear in a better class of journal.

it does amaze me what people don't know....My friend who is the horticultural show secretary thinks I am a gardening heavyweight because I know my roses by name.
as in "Hello, Mildred, been drinking your water? Percy, I'm worried about your blackfly, I'll see if Robi does housecalls. And Arthur, kindly pick up those petals you've been dropping, you think nobody can see you?"

to true for comfort jno.......
It is amazingly cool here now, have changed into knee length shorts and t-shirt and no fan or air con anywhere, just like winter. Hija is in her bed (for the night) Mr N is in our bedroom watching my sky, and I am in the lounge watching anything until CBB( I know I know shuddit), and even the cat is back on her winter chair. I can finally relax. I know the heat will return but not so fiercely. Have a bag of multicoloured sweet popcorn to munch through, so will sign out for the night.

Oight oight biddies!
Question Author
Robi I did notice the maintenance men with oversized equipment....then forgot to comment.
Question Author
Oight oight all. I have just finished the first Gently book. They nailed the casting with Martin Shaw even though the stores are different. I hear the Gently dialogue in his voice.

Good morning, well raining here and very cool, we love it. Have to go to San An today to collect another sky box as the one i have is only borrowed. Lovely not to be sweaty.

Hope you are all feeling Ok
oh oh spoke too soon, the sun is coming out and we are saying Oh don't!!
Morning all...very cool and grey here, you can have some of it in exchange for some warm sun neti. I could do with a sitting in the garden day, I think I overdid it yesterday, I've had an ache around my middle all week and now it's 10 times worse...sneezing or coughing's a real joy.

I love the Royal pic, he's never going to live that one down....and I'm wondering now if there's a rose called Mildred, haha...if not, why not? I've got an Arthur (Bell). I don't expect people to know everything (heaven knows my education's lacking in many areas) but it surprises me how people don't know about what's happening in their own back yard or even every day life stuff. I've been told many times that they often don't know where to turn the water/gas/electricity off in their own homes....but they've probably got a degree in media studies so that's alright then.

oh, here's a gardening lesson for you... look at what I've found... :)
