3 pin plug with neon

Just bought a slow cooker. Now discover it does not have an neon indicator light to show it is swithed ON.
Been left ON all night because the plug was not removed.
Anyone know where I can buy a 3 pin plug with a neon indicator light.

All suggestion welcome

I'm sure I've seen these in the past, but can't remember where, alas!
But there's a three-way switched adaptor available these days that has neon indicators for each socket. It might fit the bill. Tesco has them. See here

Dont fret too much about leaving the slow cooker on overnight most use around 100 Watts, so leaving it on for 10 hours will have cost you around 15 pence.

Thank you heathfield. Spot on. Your suggestion directed me to Asda. 4.97 each. Also if I plug the toaster in I free up a socket . Rare sight in this kitchen.

Thanks Hymie. Could you advise me of the current cost of a 1 Kilowatt hour

regards to you both

You could buy a timer adapterthat plugs into the socket and then you plug any appliance into the adapter.
The on and off times can be set to anything from a minute to 24 hours.
They're are useful when you go on holiday, if used to turn on a light in the evening, giving the impression someone is at home.

According to my last bill, my electricity supplier (e-on), charged me 17.2 pence/kWh for the first 202kWh, 10.31pence/kWh thereafter.
I have a night meter, units recorded on this meter were charged at 4.65 pence/kWh
The above prices require VAT to be added at 5%.
To add to the confusion, I received a 4 rebate (single fuel).

I quoted you are top end price at 15 pence/kWh, if you have a night meter, your 10 hours of slow cooking only cost around 5 pence.

A final thought - if you do have a night meter, you would have to accidently leave your slow cooker on over night for 100 nights, before the adaptor will pay for itself.
