I use Netscape 7.x and it has a great Tool called Search in Bookmarks. My wife uses Internet Explorer and she also has hundreds of Favorites. I have not been able to find a way of searching for a Favoritet. Is this another oversight by Microsoft or have I been looking in the wrong places? How can she find a 'misplaced' Favprote? Is there an answer for this?

I don't know if there is a way to search for a favourite, but (sorry, last time I used Netsacpe it was probably on 1x, so I might be teaching you to suck eggs) prevention is better than cure: do you know that you can set up folders and sub-folders for your favourites? You can also drag and drop them. They seem to default to alphabetical order if you don't mess around with them as well.

Even with folders and many subfolders there is bound to be times when you put a favorite in a folder but do not remember which folder. It would appear that Internet Explorer HAS NO facility to help you find that Favorite. Schachow
