....the arrival of my new toaster......I didn't particularly want a new toaster....even though mine only worked by switching the plug on and off....and that wasn't always successful so a good shake was necessary.....

A friend who stays over from time to time bought the toaster for me....being fed up with burnt toast...Lord some folk are fussy, aren't they.....

This toaster even has an illuminated bagel light???......which my friend says is a must......I don't eat bagels......but hey....it blings the kitchen up a bit more.......and I have a happy friend......☺

Gness- Mrs Bird-Lady, sorry to change the subject.... one of my clients had three green parakeets out on his bird table today. I meant to look it up... are they supposed to be wild or have they escaped from somewhere? X
Question Author
Is your friend in the London area, Pixie....though they are spreading....

Blame Jimi Hendrix maybe......but there are so many theories about how parakeets have settled in England....and yes...there are lots of them around.

They do seem to be threatening our native birds....but what can you do....and don't answer that Shoota!...☺
