Mine are fantastic, Daisy.....x

Whatever DTC
Chilly here tonight
I've been suggesting 'Cape Cods' to queenie (and minty) as to their cold, gness...vodka, cranberry juice and lime juice.....on ice, of course. That could be an alternative.
How about sloe gin, DT.
Dislike vodka
Prefer a Virgin Mary
Not for me, tony, maybe one a year at Xmas....love the Sipsmiths as it;s so smooth that tonic spoils it, can drink it as a liqueur....on the rocks, slice of lime and plenty of gin.
Did you sort out the bird ID, gness. My guess is a juvenile red kite.
Oddly - the village Harvest Festival at 6.00 p.m.. We were booked to sing there and when I saw a church bulging at the seams I panicked a bit and didn't sing as well as I could (still cross with myself). It was scrappy, children getting everything wrong and a few kids holding things together and remembering what they'd been told, but it was very heart-warming and 'everyone together in a farming community'. People were laughing and happy in church and we ended up with apple pie and cheese, plus coffee. Fabulous. :o) x
Bliss today, watching Ireland win!
tony av - a friend of mine refers to 'sloe gin' as 'fast gin' - for reasons best known to himself!
Well it is very moreish, jourdain. So I suspect it gets supped fast ( well it does in my case anyway ).
