...the wedding....

There was a wedding in the hotel today......four chaps, who were obviously in the way as the ladies were getting ready, were sent to put ribbons on the cars....

Ladies...you have seen nothing til you have seen four lads trying to put ribbons on a wedding car.....absolutely useless.....I watched them google instructions but that didn't help at all....could they tie and curl a ribbon....not in a million years....

By the time they had finished four cars looked like an explosion in a toilet roll factory....

Not bliss tonight......going for a walk with my cousin to photograph the moon.....lord....every midge in Ireland came to greet us....more Guinness is needed to ward them off I think....x

Our little cat (16 yrs) has been very ill and, although discharged from the vets' seemed to have given up the will to live. She had stopped eating, apart from licking a bit of gravy and drinking water. Her weight dropped from 3.9Kg to 3.2Kg - that's a lot. I've put in a concerted 2 days of teaspoons of cream licked off my finger, finely chopped raw kidney, bits of meat, highly expensive morceaux of casseroled fish etc., etc.. Hooray! I went up to see her (she's taken up residence in the shower-room) and this evening she has polished-off the lot, biscuits, cream, morceaux, meat et al. She is curled up, purring plumptiously. Think we may have turned the corner. :)
Looked like they did a good job to me.

Anyhoo wotcha mean ''in the way''.
Fingers crossed, jourdain.
my adoptive moggy mia curled up at my feet in bed purring ! ahhhh
MM, how long have you been a cat mum?

Jourdain, I hope that puss has a few happy and healthy years of her.

Gness, Guinness is good for you - keep on drinking.
Well done jourdain2. I hope puss recovers completely. Your ministrations undoubtedly saved her. I love all animals, especially cats.
wolf...over the road neighbours took in daughter's cat after domestic split around 3 weeks ago..only she has adopted me as mummy and spends all the time here !
MM, all black? My two are mainly black and I trip over them. She is lovely. If she isn't happy at her other home she may move in with you.

They are taking over the planet ............
all black wih lovely green eyes !
My nephew and his wife turned up today to show me their new dog,Sam a 12 week old GSD.He wondered round the house introduced himself to me and Trish then promptly went to sleep on my feet.It was just like old times,I was tempted to do a bit of puppy napping.
Gness must be ill.

She's apparently going to buy Guinness when there was a wedding reception which she could have gatecrashed for some free booze. That's not the true Gness who we all know and love, is it?

;-)
