In Boaty's absence I'll launch the goos ship Early Birds this morning, some light rain pushed through earlier.

Not looking forward to trying to sleep today, digger in digging a new drain across the back door.... deepest joy!!

Should be good when it's all done and dusted though.

Half a dozen drops of rain last night and the same today, we're being teased.

Whole house is being renovated, large extention new kitched and three loos!! New double glazing and central heating then new flooring and redecoration.... BIG job!!

Three loos? That would confuse me first thing in the morning, (two to choose from has me scratching my head), might take to long to make a decision.

Cheers Mate, it'll be fine when it's done, just a pain just now. Biggest issue has been keeping the cats out of holes in floorboards, walls you name it!! wee beggars!!

Unfortunately it's rented...our landlord has been planning this for 15 years. mere civil servants cant afford to buy in Aberdeen or about 70 miles in all directions... it;s almost as bad as London

Morning Minty xx we've seen that end of the stick too Ozzy in fact a previous landlord was prosecuted for the appaling state of the houses he rented, downright dangerous, last laugh we got was when we moved the bottom of the town (Stonehaven) flooded, three feet of water everywhere. The house was devastated, cost him an arm and a leg to fix!!!
