I need really good sticky tape to mount my kitchen lights and I have bought adhesive but none of them worked.

However the tape that came with kitchen roll holder and toilet roll holder really strong and that would do but I can't find anything online.

Thanks for any help.

Question Author
thanks for your answers but I have been doing DIY for quite a long time like replacing light switches, replacing fuses, painting and decorating so I was aware of the cleaning the grease per se and I had done so but as I say I know that the sticky tape that came with the kitchen and toilet roller would have done the job but sorry for repeating can't find it.

this is the kitchen roll holder I purchased and put on myself. The adhesive strip that came with it was simply brilliant and I know it would suffice.
