Tuesday.Not feeling at all well this morning, so haven't been walkies. The dawn chorus is in fine voice though. Tiggy and foxy were in as usual. but late.

It's going to be a nice sunny day here. Well; it's starting that way.

2 wood pigeons out the front -with a dopey look on their 'faces'-- haven't put grain/seed out for them ( run out of it -waiting 4 a delivery today)

Had an email from the hospice. The running total is now over £25000 and still coming in. Wonderful! :o}

beej, yes I need to get more supplies of wild bird seed. I have wood pigeons, collared doves and blackbirds to look after. - and they glare at me when I go out because they're reduced to the stuff they hate. They like the black sunflower seeds the best. I bought a large supply of ONLY black sunflower seeds thinking I was doing them a favour but they never touched any of it. They flew down, had a look and flew off again. I then had to resort to buying mixed wild bird food and mixed all the black sunflower seeds IN to that. Know what? - they flew down and ate all the black sunflower seeds, ONLY, and disappeared again. Bird brains right enough !!

That's birds for you jan. I have all makes here, about four or five pairs of sparrows nesting in the back hedge, along with two pairs of blackbirds and a pair of thrushes. They are all feeding their young now. One young sparrow came and landed on the table while I sitting out there sharpening my kitchen knives, mum and dad yelling at it to come away, the little'un took no notice and got stuck into my sarnie. Cheeky little git! :o}
