How do I stop a loo seat from slipping from side to side?  I have heard about some plastic brackets that can be attached to the underside of the loo seat which fit snugly inside the toilet bowl to hold it steady.  Where can I buy them?

You just need to tighten the nuts underneath. Mine slip about because his little lordship won't sit still!
I have a feeling you can get those plastic 'L' shaped brackets from B & Q. I had the same problem when I replaced the seat on one of our toilets - tightening the hinges helped, but the bowl was over-size, and the plastic stops on the seat didn't fit properly. I solved it by repositioning them. The bracket idea would have been better, but time was against me.
