A friend (who has been a veg grower for years) has had a crop of potatoes that are semi-transparent & too hard to eat after cooking whether boiled or slow roasted.
Any ideas as to what the reason might be? he doesn't remember the variety name, they weren't his usual choice. Thanks.

nice wet day out there, I must go and get some ducks. Duck a la glass potato sounds good.
oh, getting back to Spotify: what's different about it from iTunes or Amazon? Is it a rival or a different sort of site altogether? Do you have to pay to join? All information gratefully received.

PS loved psychic cat too...she said outcome favourable
Well just stick with the goddam psycho cat then Jude as you so obviously think he makes more sense than I do he he he. Seriously though I'm not offended. It is difficult to explain a whole philosophy in a couple of AB posts. The short and sweet of it is: Just think of the cards as suggestions for topics to discuss. The rest will come naturally and new insights will evolve as your own psyche, wisdom and maturity blend with that of the tarot reader. There's is no magic in the cards themselves, the answer lies in the process of wording your question and in your own reaction to the cards. The same constellation of cards will mean different things to you on different days. But the cards will always mean something to you, on each given occasion, as they lend themselves willingly to a multitude of interpretations.

So - you may ask - if the cards don't tell the future and they can mean anything really, then why not just have the same conversation with a wise person without the cards? No reason why not! Using the cards is just a way of preparing yourself to pay attention to your inner compass, that's all. A tarot reading IS mysterious - but so is a really good talk with a friend. I do believe you get in touch with some kind of collective source in either case.

You have an actual physical deck too, Woofgang?

Best laugh today: QuizMonsters joke, post No. 13 on my 'Church Shock' thread in Phrases & Sayings. I laughed so hard I cried.

I asked the psycho cat "Where can I get a hat like that?" and he said "Doan cownt on it".
Hi Vinny, I'm gonna ask Psycho Cat if you will ever answer my Spotify question;-) I.e. do songs occasionally disappear from your Spotify playlists the same way they do from your YouTube playlists? (Removed because somebody uploaded them illegally.)
Spotify jno....its free(20 hours a month)funny enough I just saw it advertised on TV.I think i:tunes charge. You can send your fave tunes to your friends and vice versa...make a play list and it drags all your music from your putta you have already saved including media player. Its bound to have some weird belgium music to:O)10,000 tunes are added everyday to its library of 8 million.
NO...(:O)
hiya kip.
but then again mine are all legal(well untill they catch me)(:O)
Spoken like a true oracle, Vinny - I get a reply but I don't know what it refers to - no you're not ever going to answer my question or no songs do not disappear from your playlists? You just behave young man, Spotify is Swedish so if you don't treat me good I'll have them suspend your account;-)
Oh okay - hadn't seen your last post when I pressed submit:) You're unsuspended:)
hehe..!no songs do not disappear from my playlists...........yet.Can you have a word in mr spotifys shell like (that a fool her)and tell him of the good work Im doing promoting his site and can I have a free smorgasbord please...coz my chopping boards looking a bit cream crackered....(:O)
No can do, Vinny. I tried to have a word with the resident Spotify chef but he said I wasn't making any sense http://i56.tinypic.com/2wozj2v.jpg

(And PS I didn't really mean that you would ever dream of download anything illegally he he he, I was really referring to the original uploader, onto Spotify.)
is your house now warmer wrapped in cling film kip..?.if it is Im going to cover mine to for the winter(:O)
Dunno Vinny, I always dress like a mummy anyway he he. But come to think of it yes I think it probably is a bit warmer. It's some kind of woven plastic net but it's not applied onto the building itself but onto the scaffolding so that creates an "air pocket" that probably accounts for the rise in temperature. Of course, the primary purpose of the wrapping is to make perfectly sure the demolished balconies fall in through my window instead of falling onto the ground;-)

Gotta go, possums, see you later.
