Cooking Apples

Some one said to me they never peel their cooking apples, and i always do do that.
I love stewed apples and custard.

Maybe you do throw the past part of the apple away apart from the core?

i haven't made stewed apples in ages, i used to love apple snow. got a hankering for it now :-)

i would peel the apples though

mccfluff. I prefer to peel mine too, surely it is the best way, and maybe not lose nourishment that is in the peel.
We've been given loads and loads and i keep cooking them every few days.
