Hanging basket plants.

I have just bought two handing baskets to plant up but not sure if it is better to plant just one type of plant or to mix them.

What gives a better show and can you suggest some plants for sunny basket and one that has some shade.

Personally I'd do a small mix for variety, not too many different types though. Some blooms, some foliage. Then you have to decide, single colour, or rainbow of them
