Sprouts are excellent, boiled to a mush, and served with lashings of white pepper and extra-hot chilli sauce. By coincidence I have them for tonight's dinner.

I boil them then let them rest for 5 mins, then heat some olive oil in a pan, add some chopped onions and pancetta and fry for 5 mins then add the sprouts for a further 5 mins, delicious

I'm not convinced by the sprouts = farts equation.

More effective in stinking the house out are boiled leeks. I find that if I have a generous portion of leeks that I have to open all the upstairs windows for 3 days afterwards and burn a few incense sticks.

Best fart food is chilli con carne with some hard boiled eggs and a side dish of cabbage fried in garlic butter.
