Where have all the birds gone?? Only ever see (last couple of weeks) Seagulls. In the back we usually see most of the garden birds but not lately, not even pigeons !!!!!!

Most of them are around by just lying low, as many (like blackbirds) are moulting and feel vulnerable
grandpajoe - I think that your birds were the ones dancing on my skylight first thing this morning. The little boy cat nearly killed himself trying to get to them.
sorry - BUT lying low. Of course, the swifts have gone, swallows and house martins soon to follow
Plenty round here still. There's one that sits on the roof opposite and it's crow sounds like a crying baby..

///The word seagull is actually an informal way of referring to any of the species that belong to the family Laridae, the gulls. There is not actually a single species called the seagull///

This morning I have seen bluetits, great tits, a robin, dunnocks, goldfinches, buzzards, pigeons and doves. So they are all here.
I knew you were going to post that, Baldric.

"Mystic Ummmm"
I have 2 pigeons that come regular and sit on the fence looking in window waiting for food . My Hannes goes mental when she sees them and I have a chorus with the cockatiel to see who can scream loudest . Plenty of smal birds still around i
.

Sorry about that "Baldric "!! If you are that far up yourself why didn't you mention "Jonathan Livingston" clever ***. I'm off out to polish the car before various species of Seagulls poo on it!!
The same thing happens to me always at this time of year, the nesting season is over so they're not looking for so much food now. I don't like it when they disappear, but they will be back again when the weather gets colder and they're looking for food again.
Baldric - you've lectured about it before!
I saw 3 magpies at once yesterday - I'm not superstitious but I am due my 20-week scan the week after next.
Any bird that flies near the sea and pinches chips is a seagull. Same as those on waste tips.

Lighten up, for goodness sake, the pair of you ;o)
'Three for a girl' NoM ?
That's what they say don't they, jambutty?

I've no inkling either way what I'm having and I just want to be told that everything is okay with the baby. Pink or blue, it'll have two doting parents.
And a furry big sister (lol).
NoM - you said you found out on your gender scan thread.
