Thursday. The weather guru's were right. The sky is clear and it's going to be a nice day. About time too! Having said that, yer wee man has just told us there could be the odd shower. Such is life.
Tiggy is still rootling round the garden, I think he's glad to be able to. Some outside jobs today then! After a meeting at the hospice at 10.
Have a happy day everyone.

Hopefully, I will make it to one of my fav hostelries for dinner, the Nobody at Doddiscombeleigh, near Exeter, before venturing back here late this evening.
Breakfast prepared, notes to the carer prepared, head on, keys to hand - a couple of more things to do before I step forth.

One for Albs if she is on this morning....
Hamish was travelling down a country road in his native Lanarkshire, when he saw a crowd of people gathering outside a one storey Uplands farmhouse.
It was a cold November afternoon, four below already, so he stopped and asked Farmer McSporran why such a large crowd of men was gathered there, a huge cloud of steam arising from the throng.
The farmer replied, Wee ‘Jo’s donkey kicked his mother-in-law and she died.’
‘Well, ‘replied the man, ‘She must have had a hell of a lot of friends.’
‘Nope, ‘said Farmer McSporran.’ We all just want to buy his donkey.’

Morning Birdies, nice morning up here, still and clear bright sunshine out east bit of cloud to the west. Safe journey DT that A30 is a long road. Have travelled it many times going back to the 60s when it was more of a track and passed through every village from Exeter to Lands End. I remember it even went right past the Smugglers front door if my memory serves.
