He is probably flattered that a president elect regards him so highly. Seems fair enough to take the chance
Link?
He is brown-nosing gulliver....nothing more and nothing less. Perhaps he is hoping for a job in Trumps cabinet....after all, despite his continual attempts, over many years, he can't get into our over here ?
I think Farage has had more of an impact here than you may think, mikey. I can't see why he shouldn't make the most of this- I could see him being very poluar over there and he could continue to influence things in Europe

I think you do Nigel a disservice, gulliver1. He is, after all, the only British politician to have publicly stood up for Trump and even shared a platform with him. He had nothing to gain then, when Trump was widely expected to lose by a mile. Very probably they have developed a mutual respect and even liking - and this could do our country a tremendous amount of good regarding trade-deals. So the friendship should be encouraged.

I am aware that you will misunderstand and, probably, scorn me and call me a sycophant or something because my point of view does not agree with yourher narrow, agenda. Never mind. :)
^^^' your rather narrow'
Good call buddy. Something like special adviser on Euro matters. You know showing him how to derail the Eucrats and their legions of zombified acolytes.
Trump likes 'Brexit' and Farage is 'Mr Brexit' in person !!!
Probably publicity

jourdain2.........there is a very good reason that Farage was the only British politician to " stand up for Trump"

Nobody else wanted to soil their hands.
But he was right about the outcome, mikey. ANY politician would 'soil their hands' if they knew they were on the winning side. Farage didn't, so credit for that, please.
Like him or loath him, he is patriotic, so now Trump has won jourdain2 is correct. Farage is now in a position to do a lot of good for Britain especially when it comes to Trade Deals. Even if unofficially we should make use of him.

Mikey , could you really call Farage a politician?
To dine with the Devil, it wise to remember that you need a very long spoon.
Haha Mikey has a long history of presuming that he is cheering for a "winning" side only for other doh moment. In the meanwhile he gets grubbier and grubbier, in his bewilderment, with every new(old theme)post.
The difficulty here is Clinton WAS the winning side !
He will probably be more appreciated in the States, than he was here, and he is a hard worker!
