Life got in the way yesterday but am deffo going this morning as I'll be at that end of the town.

I am back to work tomorrow morning, 2days, 3nights. sigh where did that 12 days go. only another 5 weeks and I can have another 12 days off. yippee.

I wish, 2 days 3 nights this week, then 3 days 2 nights the following week, then 2 days 2 nights the week after , then a week off being put anywhere to fill in. That's the time I put in leave.

Morning (feels like I havent slept) !! Off to meet my pal today for a nice quiet day looking around the historical sites of Edinburgh.We shall adjourn to a local hostelry first to plan our route...like which end of Rose St we'll start at ;)

Morning everyone

First day back at work after 2 weeks hols. Ive come back for a rest from all the housework and cleaning Ive been doing ,but having to get up at 5.30 again for the next 3 days I`ll feel as though Ive never been away from here.
Very misty and damp here this morning.

Apart from my own jobs at home, Ive been clearing at MIL bungalow now shes gone into a home. Cupboards full of stuff that I have been washing and taking to charity shops for the last 2 weeks. There must have been 4 tea sets and loads of glasses and pyrex stuff which she probably hasnt used for years. Why do people hang onto these things. Its made me realise I am going to have a good clean out myself. Wouldnt want our son to have to do this when the time comes.
Anything I havnt used in the last year is definitely going ( unless it might come in use sometime ) :)

It's quite distressing TOH. We had a good old clear out before we moved and I vowed we wouldn't clutter again. If it's not been used for 6 months, get rid. But like you, it MIGHT come in handy (usually as soon as it has been disposed of)
